V "DOORS OPEN BOTH WAYS"

Vodou, a traditional Afro-Haitian religion. Vodou represents a syncretism of the West African Vodun religion and Roman Catholicism . Far from B-movie cliches, Vodou is spiritual system and a way of life but even in Haiti, where it became an official religion, it faces prejudice and hostility. This documentary defies cliches of zombies, pins in dolls and black magic. However, there is a dark side of the religion. As with all religious practices, the door opens both ways.
